Our Security Champions are required to gain an SIA badge before joining us, once received you'll be able to apply for a role with us. Y.D.I offers flexible working, providing either full-time and part-time continuous hours and support for our staff. Once, you've been recruited as an officer we offer further training. This is to equip you to be specialised in serving in a healthcare environment. Although previous experience is desirable, we are open to taking on applicants with zero experience serving in a healthcare setting.

Training
We offer our Security Champions ongoing training, including our Healthcare Security 'Top up' program and in-house scenario-based training, to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their role. Upon passing the interview stage, candidates must complete the program's three modules: Security in Healthcare, Communication Skills, and Violence in NHS, and receive an electronic certificate. New starters must complete the program a week before their in-house induction roleplay training to provide excellent service.
Pay Rates
Y.D.I offers competitive hourly rates for Security Champions, who are employed on a zero-hour basis to provide flexibility for individuals with other commitments, while still providing opportunities for valuable experience and training. Additionally, we welcome applicants to apply for permanent in-house roles, which contribute to our commitment to maintaining efficient service.
